嫁到阿聯酋，除了心理要有所轉變，生理亦要熬得住！每年一次長達一月的齋戒月、長期日照下的高溫，都不是所有香港女性都可持久忍受得到。Laila明白到婚姻不再是年少時的憧憬，童話故事亦只屬於童年，婚後生活平淡得來帶點小確幸已是美滿，憶起丈夫Assad曾為她買愛吃的水果走遍半個杜拜，想到剛去世的奶奶對她的鍾愛，不禁淚盈於睫！愛情及宗教信仰已令她忘掉一切生理及心理上的難處。

Laila坦言在阿聯酋落地卻不能生根，她與Assad都不是當地人，只是居留簽證持有人，完全不能享有當地福利，亦沒有辦法入籍。即使如此，Laila從未有想過一家三口搬往香港，全因香港的教育制度令她卻步？

剖析阿聯酋人妻心中所想之餘，陳貝兒(Janis)繼續發掘當地人神秘一面。原來小至家庭聚會，大至上班、上學，男、女都要分開，自言見慣大場面的Janis都感到新鮮！齋戒月最後一個晚上，就像中國的年三十晚，翌日開齋日，猶如大年初一，當地人會做些甚麼事「慶祝」呢？
