簡介
不論是大富之家，還是貧窮家庭，各家各戶都有本難唸的經，總有各種問題需要解決。在奶奶何少蘭（薛家燕飾）的主持下，書香世代的豪門連家表面十分和諧，實際上卻是暗藏許多問題。隨著兩位「新抱」郭菲菲（滕麗名飾）和文彩菱（湯盈盈飾）嫁入連家，家中各人的問題亦逐漸浮現，同時揭穿了書香世家之下的重重心結。期間連家眾人經歷各種離離合合，高高低低，過程中有笑有淚，及後還要面臨一場重大家族危機……。
