for sure, if this ever happens between dad-daughter or mum-son cases or it that happened to younger / immature students i can't accept either
but my friend doesn't carry the same blood as her ...
1st point, then you have something to hold you back - blood relationship
For me, teacher-student relationship is the one who hold me back
It's your preference which I strongly disagree on.
If you insist freedom of love, why can't you accept dad-daughter, mom-son one? more extremely, son-grandma, daughter-grandpa then? One that can accept that will say, Bebe, you are so conservative and bounded by your moral. Why can't you accept that? Blah blah blah.
For me, I am consistent with the norm of the society - collective wisdom.
I don't argue on whether they act immorally or inappropriately in class or inside school. It's moral problem of being a teacher. I won't blame the girl as she was young but the teacher, with proper training, he must be aware of that and hold him back. It is not supposed by the society/parents/principal/school/colleagues that one teacher has relationship with his/her students. No matter the students are under his/her class directly or not. If the girl graduated and then relationship developped, I am perfectly fine with it, that's freedom and no violation of code of conduct.
Imagine, if you are parent of your daughter, you know a school which allows teachers to chase their students, and one of the teacher chase your daughter, will you accept that? People won't care and saying something 風涼 as far as it's none of their business....
Freedom is freedom but there is rules or bottom line. Like even with freedom of speech, you can't 誹謗 others. Even foul language is not illegal, it's already bad to someone.
World is changing but not yet changed yet.
For me, school is a holy place, students are learning about everything including moral. Fairness by Clotti is 1 point. It's not only affecting one couple but also other students, the image / reputation of school.
