but still, hope that the school would adjust the salary later on (if you ever got the offer and provided that you have good performance)
i know some employers would adjust the pay right after probation

It's only 1 year contract and have 50% chance they will close the post later
But then I got my purpose already if so XDD

Yeah, 2 more weeks and then I start to switch to tutoring business

why surprised you? i bet your HS is kind of good (sinlge sex school can't be bad ... it's rare LOL) and highly probable a BAND 1 school too so i can't think of why your HS not known to that principal

There is power differential between teacher and student

If the teacher didn't teach any course of the student, then it is okay
but still, it's occupational moral ( I learnt this in US, while I was trained to be a TA, it's the first regulation ). It told us, we can't develop any relationship with your students but you are fine to have relationship once class is over.

Consider the relationship between boss and his employee...
That's a no...involve too much things, love, gossip, power, money...

no wonder the school can pay at such low rate
cause i always believe there's minimum pay requirement (something like that) in education field or some regulartory body to monitor the salary range for you guys
