nah, there are more side meanings apart from that
i m not trying to alienate myself although i live overseas
but i don't think i m typical hk girl
one day i was talking to one of my best friends in HK
she's dating a trader from a global ibank
dating means just going out, dinner and movies things...
but then she said, he's so cheap
coz he didn't buy her anything expensive and wanted to hold her hands
i understand the hands part - you are not supposed to hold someone's hand if she's not your gf yet
but the situation here sounds more like he's not willing to give up money for this girl and that's what bothering her
maybe i am not up-to-date
is dating like this in HK now?
i was so shocked to hear that from my friend as I always think she's simple and subtle...
well, maybe i m wrong
