unfortunately, the student leaders were very firm in the stance against the government.
In fact, i don't even rate them as leaders. They are just a bunch of cowards that only wanted other's blood to be spilt for revolution so they can enjoy the fruits of the revolution.
The government MUST have read the riot act before the suppression. If they did, and the students didn't disperse within the time limit, then the government had every right to suppress with force.
