if he's in HK it's a tad too early to go to sleep.  So I guess he lives in aus which is a few hours ahead of us...  Maybe Auckland which is 4 hrs ahead.  Melb/Sydney are both 2 hrs ahead so not sure about those...

Or he could have just been back from heavy duty partying in the west coast in the US/Canada.  It is a possibility as well.

half half thing may not work against either the extremely sophisticated, or the very simplistic ones.

In a way it's like playing holdem poker.

Having said that, I don't think I would ever apply those to the beloved at all.  It will just be simple and direct.
