You are still green in terms of love and relationships. Out there, there are many hungry tigers after you. A men in 45 got a pretty wife of 22 should be satisfied. I believe you can fulfill his (sex) fantasy if any.
However, for yourself, be caution to your own heart, don't let it go too wild. Most likely due to you age, he decided to give you some freedom. (just a guess) But.... Personally, I think the worst scenario would be you changed and he got hurt. I do believe he has higher chances getting heart-broken.  Don't forget there are 3 of you involved.
