Haha...tax cuts aren't necessarily good. When taxes are cut too often (or stay too low), there's nothing you can fall back on when the time is bad. Just take a look at HK - we can neither use big tax cuts to stimulate the economy nor raise taxes to handle the necessary welfare stuff because...it's too low already and everyone has come to think "low tax" is a must and an entitlement, regardless of reality.
Of course, even an outsider like me know a bit about the awfulness of the US tax system...the rate is one issue, but worse still is the complexity. Were I a Yank like you I might have to get myself a Big-4 accountant to deal with the IRS, for sure...
Nonetheless I don't like the Obama guy at all...his supporters aren't called "Obamaniacs" for nothing. And his peacenik tendency in terms of foreign policy is particularly scary...
