my camera setting is very very similar to yours.. except i'm using tamron 17-55/2.8, same nikon 70-300 VR and also 85/1.8.. i have 50mm as well but i think it's not exactly useful.

d700.. i always check the price.. always think it's too expensive.. haha..

and best of luck with job hunting, the market is tough.. i wanna switch but will stay put for awhile..

anyway off to bed for me, 3 more days before weekend!

That's my mistake to buy Sigma 18-50 F2.8 instead of that Tamron A16
I suffer by the soft 18mm F2.8 :')

You have 85/1.8 , it's much more useful than 50mm for sure XD
