well.....in some cities like HK, london, NYC...etc is ok to take public transport......but kinda hard in CA though.....
as long as i remember, even taxi n bus is not popular in CA.....come on.......driving a 2nd hand car is not that hard......

It takes me $5.5 to LAX
I have a bike and can ride as far as Little Toyko ( Union Station around ), Arcadia, Glendale Mall, etc
