Even so, i guess that's some rage comment as i don't know where caltech comes from suddenly in his post
Caltech is leading in some fields for sure but as a whole, Stanford is better in general to me, in campus life etc

It's hard to conclude but so far, the main advantage and disadvantage in caltech is "Only science and engineering, don't have enough diversity"

From history level, both are old

But we don't have law/business/medical school which "earns" money and reputation, you know

that's like my ug alma mater.... it's jus isn't the same without these school, i'd say. makes u feel lesser of a school

Our rival is MIT LOL
We do pranks to each other every year

A funny story, there is a cannon in my school which fires once the end of semester.
It's kind of symbol of us

One morning, MIT students pretended to be officers from Construction company or so and requested to remove the cannon for construction. They had documents and such blah blah blah

They then carried the cannon ( few tons probably ) from California to Massachusetts
