portugese... high park is the polish/Portuguese area, right?  you can go take a look...

if you want an interesting dining experience... 

there's a restaurant on St. Mary Street (a few blocks south of yonge on the west side)... there's an Ethiopian restaurant... 

i won't spoil it for you, but walk in for the most authentic african dining you can get in TO.
