Headroom are extremely excited to be launching the first in a series of events by bringing the well respected and original clubbing brand Renaissance exclusively back to Hong Kong.
The exclusive Renaissance events throughout 2009 will come in a series of chapters and to kick things off we are very privileged to have the legendary house DJ/producer Satoshi Tomiie on the 24th of April at Club Cixi.
Club Cixi will be transformed for the night with Renaissance decor. Combined with the club's powerful sound system & great atmosphere the Hong Kong massive will be sure to flock in waves to see the world famous Satoshi Tomiie in action.

SATOSHI TOMIIE
Trained in Japan as a classical musician, he used his talents in the early years to write, program and produce some of the biggest house records of our time. Satoshi’s debut solo album was 2000’s massive ‘Full Lick’; a mix of classic vocal house styles and darker progressive moods. ‘Full Lick’ featured the outstanding Satoshi anthem “Love in Traffic”, with Kelli Ali (ex-Sneaker Pimps) on vocals.
Currently, Satoshi works year round in his studio and on the road via laptop. He continues to DJ, create new tracks and collaborate with other writers wherever he is in the world. When not traveling, he has called New York City his second home for over a decade.
Satoshi is also President of Saw Recordings. The label has earned a formidable reputation for credible club grooves. Taking its name from a sound wave, the company has unleashed more than 50 singles and several albums---including Chab’s sublime variety of rock, electro and house tracks, “Undulation One” mixed by Tomiie and Hector Romero, “Undulation 2” mixed by Audiofly, and Satoshi’s “ES” and “ESB”. Saw has moved into digital distribution with their product selling via iTunes, Beatport and others. The label represents Satoshi’s vision by creating music and introducing opportunities for lesser-known producers in both Electronic and Dance Music.
His brand new ‘Masters Series’ compilation on Renaissance is over 2 1/2 hours of music from the true housemaster. The mix, spread over 2 discs, exclusively features Satoshi's brand new single Mes - Madrugada alongside loops, keys and FX throughout.
DEE McAULEY AKA MONTERO
In the 15 years since Dee began djing with two hi-fi turntables at local nightclubs around his native hometown Belfast, he’s won Vestax mixing championships (aged 17) and he’s held residencies at legendary clubs Amnesia, Pacha, Space and Café Mambo in Ibiza during the 2000 – 2005 summer seasons. Since then his international DJ schedule has seen him grace the decks at prestigious venues including The Cross in London, Redlight in Paris, Trilogy in Dubai, Luv Club in Athens and Double 6 in Bali. Dee has also been in demand in Eastern European cities like Minsk, Kiev, Belgrade (where he played to 25,000 people), Warsaw and Vilnius at the recently launched Pacha. On top of that he’s had a line of successful releases on labels such as Renaissance, Audio Therapy and Duty Free Recordings, with heavy support from Sasha, Sander Klienenberg, Dave Seaman and James Zabiela to name but a few.

The Renaissance launch party will run from 11pm until 5am. Tickets go on sale first week of April at Cixi, Homebase and through the ticket hotline priced $280HKD. A limited number of special VIP tickets will also go on sale priced $2000HKD per table of 5. A special VIP room is reserved for $3000HKD for 10 guests to enjoy.
