李斯特之惡夢

小弟應該算係好早玩 Internet 果批人，九五年左右開始用 Modem 打電話上網，果時 ISP 同你續分鐘計錢。
所以當年都係做正經野先會上網，一般人收完 email 會 cut 線覆完再打過電話 send 返出去。
但我係用屋企人開既公司既上網 account 嘅, 開公數當然長期 on, 冇野好做就長期上 chatroom，不過一來當時太細 (仲係中學生) 二來果時會上網留 chatroom 既大部份都係大學生，所以都冇溝女冇搵食，吹下水多。
之後上網每小時收費越黎平，到只收月費無限上網， Internet 先正式普及 (亦越黎越多女 :smile_40

讀完大學，搵返本科 IT 既工, 小弟可以長時間 on 住 chatroom ，真係打開我搵食之門…
可能你會問我玩左咁耐 chatroom 都唔係抱住搵食既心態，轉變由何而來呢?

只因你有call waiting / 或是你上網前未做好call forward吧．　不過果時真是好煩架．

i found 1 or 2 modem was like that as soon as u have call waiting signal it will cut off, so i can go online as often as I like, that was my office line i do need it for business.

the us robotics was a better modem, when signal comes in it will not un-hook, so is not so good even it has 33.6, my regular one was 28.8
now look back i had high speed since 04 or so.
