STORY
漫畫家小山宙哉目前在講談社雜誌「Morning」上連載中的作品「宇宙兄弟」，今年還真的頗受改編製作方的青睞，不僅將在5月5日上映由小栗旬和岡田將生主演的真人電影，而且其TV動畫也決定將從4月1日起每逢週日早上7點在讀賣電視台和日本電視台播出。
「宇宙兄弟」是以太空人為題材展開的故事，講述南波兄弟在年少時曾立下一起成為太空人的誓約，數十年後，弟弟日日人達成誓言當上太空人，而哥哥六太卻被公司開除成了無業遊民。某日，日日人給六太寄去一封電子郵件，使得原本消沉度日的六太因此而振作起來，並決定重新面對夢想、朝目標邁進。作品主要描寫了主角南波兄弟與其他同樣以當上太空人為目標的人們怎樣去追逐夢想，整體內容十分勵志。
