i drive manual too
personally i think driving manual is more fun which gives you more control of the car

i believe you can drive like crazy and disappear all of a sudden on the road in many european countries like germany and french

explore the world? you are optimistic
surfing does affect my work schedule but it's worthy at the end of the day cause i can meet new people from here and chatting with them does help kill my boredom away somehow

"no speed limit" in germany hahaah, i must get my licence within next year i hope

in the future when i get bored with manual, i would choose tiptronic hahaha

i guess for big countries as in size (not in economy), if you are driving out of the city to the rural or better yet, bush areas, more often than not there's no limit on road and evn if it does set the limit, no one would obey the law i bet

on straights the fastest i hit so far is 165 km/h
but i have been a passenger on a car speeding close up 200km/h ... that was exciting but it scared me shxtless too :smile_35:


thanks god i have a good seating in office and most of the time, my boss is not around
though a monitoring report on staff's internet usage would be generated by my 'lovely' IT departement and sent to my boss on a monthly basis so ...

i did not say a word, but i was shouting "what the hell" in my heart
he did try over 200km/h when driving alone

but sometimes it depends on what car are u driving
if u are inside a "bigger" car, u don't feel the speed
now when we in hk goes up to 160-170km/h, i usually think why the other cars were so slowly....

when u said "hit the pedal to the metal" then i suddenly think of pull the hand brake hehehehehheheeee......

anyway, i think u r right, ppl feel the speed when step on the gas, and the engine sounds, with the force pushing ur back
though when speed comes steady, i can't feel speed again, i think that's my problem
