I think very few people has been truly "hypnotized" in their lives, but most people, if not everyone, should had experienced that "hypnotized state".
(of course, I am simply assuming, since the state i was in was not very new to me...)
The state I was in was like when you're really tired sometimes, and you're falling asleep, but the moment before you are deep asleep, you can hear everything around you, or that you are in the state where you're sort of dreaming, but you can still influence your dream and know you're dreaming and can snap out of it if you want to.
I don't know if all I remembered was everything, that's why I really wish we recorded this somehow so I could compare it with my own memories.
