I visited it on last Friday Sep 7th and was requested to present my Home Return ID card for scanning as record at reception desk. In addition, they also requested me to provide my mobile phone number as well as taking my profile photo for registration. They claimed this is crucial part of new management and should be ruled strictly to every guest.


Certainly i rejected it and turned around to another shop. Definitely i will blacklist this shop 皇室假期 from now on, regardless of 6-months happy time i spent here.

Cant believe this is happening. Will visit less.

Some people concern the personal privacy information being collected, once you enter China, your personal information already collected, if you are not committed any crime or offence any law of China, why you need to scare ?

I understand the ID card photocopy has been required for many shops for a long time. However,  taking personal profile photo is the first time I have ever met at 皇室. Actually even at last month they did not request me to register any information,  neither ID card photocopy nor mobile phone number. 

Apparently the personal data collection system at China board Custom Check is different from that one at 皇室假期. The latter bears no guarantee for preventing your data information from leakage to unlawful acts. You will never know how they process your personal information data and what consequences it results.

Protect your personal information data now before it leads you loss and trouble.
