當年從泰國沿陸路去柬埔寨走一大圈(Poipet->Ankor->.P.->Snooky->KohKong)﹐再返曼谷﹐回香港。
全程12天都係洗佐300美金。E+肯定唔得la﹗﹗

Not really!  If the traveler shop around a bit and go backpacking style, the trip can be much much cheaper even at today's prices.  And, it is only a short flight from HK, available on many LCC (Low Cost Carrier).  In fact, direct flights are shorter than flying to Bangkok.  Nevertheless, Ankor Wat is certainly worth a visit, not mention many other less popular area.  From my experience, the traveler can save a lot of $$ by studying a bit and plan ahead, then just go on their own. All the expensive cost are mostly from the middle guys (the touts, tourist guides and operators, etc...)  Perhaps, the most difficult part is the language and being able to communicate with the Khmer.

Furthermore, Cambodia can be a good side trip for people visiting Eastern Thailand.  There are lots of information you can search over the internet, but most of them are in English.
