(三十一）我的生日（一）

數星期後，到了我的生日。我自己的生日通常都是低調地進行，只是食一餐生日飯而已。在生曰前夕，我也見不到Isabella 有什麼特別表示，像平日一樣日子如常地過。

還記得在生曰的前一個晚上，我下課後到了她的家吃她煮的飯，她還提醒我早點睡覺，明天我生日想到三藩市其他地方行吓。我聽她的話十一時已經上床睡覺（平時我通常二三時才睡）。我們只是相擁而睡，因為明早要早起，出街逛。

過了個多小時後，Isabella 忽然起了身，出了房。我不爾為言地繼續睡覺。大約十五分鐘後。從房外閃出一道微光，把我在半夢半醒之間帶了出來。我看見Isabella 拿著一個我一生裏面見過最小的蛋糕。大約只有1/2磅，味道是Mango Mousse, 上面放上一枝長長的 candle. 蛋糕上放了一小塊白朱古力，寫上' Happy Birthday Conrad' . 當我看到蛋糕時，她還送給我一個新的皮銀包，跟我説...

雖然只是一個小小的蛋糕，但那份突如其來的驚喜，加上她花的心思令我感動起來，擁着她一時感觸流下淚光... 她反而安尉我說她幫我度過生日應該大家都開心才對。經她一說，我也清醒過來，開始吃蛋糕。我把她的腰攬住，她一口我一口，不消二十分鐘便吃完。本來我想有進一步行動，但她說太攰，留給我正曰時才算,加上我們還要去其他地方行，所以大家便呼呼大睡了。

記憶中我也沒有收過自已做的蛋糕。Con 兄是性情中人。

那個蛋糕是她準備的，最深刻的是她給我的驚喜。
