Let's talk about telephone manner this time.
I received some private messages.
In order to let us know about each other more, after I receive the photo, I will tell the man my phone number.
But it is really strange that, a guy call me the first time, the conversation was (in Cantonese, of course)
He: Are you still working so late?
Me: Who is it? Who are you looking for?
He: I am XXX. I am looking for YYY.
..... then we talked a short while
(I already felt very odd that....... why he called me and not to state who he was and who he was looking for).
Then, this afternoon, the same guy called again.
He: Now you wake up la.
Me: Who is it?
He: I am XXX.
This time I told him that, it was very odd. He should at least stating who he was calling for and stated who he was. He said, he thought I would recognise his phone number.
I just want him to know that, we are not close friends, therefore he should not expect I should recognise his telephone number (although I have telephone number displayed on my phone before I listen to the phone) and recognise who he was.
It is a telephone manner, if you are not in a close relationship with someone, you should state who are you looking for and who you are.
