why is he not willing to spend some time and guide you through the jobs? it doesn't take long anyway as per my experience ... :smile_27:
in fact, it has an advantage to him too if he can train you up cause he doesn't have to fix your mistakes and can focus on his stuff

for adjustments, what are they about? are they regular adjustments? if so, perhaps you can dig out some past paperwok / journal and follow the same to put through your entries in system ... your boss is so irresponsible  :smile_39:

the structure of my company iz crazy..as i said..we only hv 4 admin ppl, even the hr person hv to deal with shipping, i dunno y the hell she iz not doing payroll, which was assigned to me..my boss iz actually the GM, so he has to look over production, hr and accounts..
he assigned the previous person in my post to train me up..but they nvr communicate themselves..my boss expects me to kno evything, when in fact the previous person didnt teach me to the fullest of his expectation..
sometimes i hv to be on my own n dig out past records to refer to..n he says im slow doing my work, when i get it wrong, he says y dun u refer to how it was done b4..:smile_42:
the adjustment..some price adjustment..but the quantity isnt even rite..the last time i did it, he was screaming at me do this do that, n it was like during audit time..like rushing thru it..how the hell m i supposed to learn like that..

are you close to this HR person? did she say anything about this arrangement? is she happy with her job? :smile_42:
heavy workload is not an issue .. actually it's good for you and for her IMHO because you two get to touch in other areas which might give your greater opportunities in the future / next career
the main concern is lack of proper training, no procedural / manuals and poor communication between levels too from what you said :smile_39:have your even talked about this to your boss? if not, no wonder he would've assumed that you have known everything ... perhaps you should tell himi experienced the same too ... bosses are like that regardless of locations and races ... they have bad memory in general and like to change their mind every now and then and it's hard to catch what they really want sometimes :smile_42:
that sounds like an inventory adjustment to me ... is this mess required to be done by the external auditor:smile_41:
