I have a quite a lot of male friends don't have car/license

If you don't want to buy a car, why bother getting the license
Your skills will become rusty after years of no driving and it's fatal in HK

If you got a car later, you can get the license later too

that's not acceptable, and impossible without licence in overseas
but in hk, it's ok due to ease of transportation
my dad and even my brother didn't know how to drive too
the root issues are the guy's mentality - its him to choose stepping into rich social circles with purposes in the first instance
second, he knew his GF's characters (bitchy as he stated) ahead prior to dating
he picked her himself ... what can we say, eh? blame himself, for sure
