Beside the 萬曆十五年, this author has another book "The Grand history of China", it is also quite good. If u are familiar with CHinese history, u can forget this book. If not, it worth to have a read

Yeah, I want to buy but couldn't find it in the book expo ( so difficult to dig books there )
But it seems those are for intermediate level
Not the beginner level
