and he was really strict when we were little, and he hit us a lot. ><" and i was really afraid of him.
but that's typical of chinese family i guess...
it's just worse for me coz i've been away from them since i was 14...
and even before i was 14, i see him half a year every year.
but anyhow, i think the worse thing was that now i'm still afraid of my dad.  
i know there's no reason to be, but it's subconscious.  failure of chinese parenting. ><"
