Don't quite understand the red part

For pt 2, I do believe memory will fade out
The fade out is not like I forgot that totally
Just the "image", the intensity is a lot less

Perhaps, that is from your experience but it's not the case in my experience.

Honestly, if you asked me about my best/happiest memory now, I can't tell at all
Nothing in my brain related to that key word at all.

I am sure I was happy once, anyway, that's a good fade out even it's good memory

Not with backup lover though XD

what i mean is time will NOT heal or cure your pains
like you being hurt and cut with an open wound ...  if that wound is not taken care of it would just become worse over the time
plus feelings from the past WON'T fade away it will remain in your heart like in a pandora's box and it’s just the matter of how strong / intensity (as per your saying) that feeling is at the present, and how you deal with / treat the wound and then the following scar ... but if someone / something (such as passing over a place where you had lots of fond memory) drives you to open that box again, past memory would certainly appear all of a sudden

one day you might devise a backup plan to find one if needed

I can't accept my gf has backup
So i won't do the same too

If the intensity is very low, it doesn't hurt us or have negative impact
It doesn't care right?
Also, if during the time, one may 看開 and then that memory is no longer having negative impact on us

Time won't heal, I agree unless something is done
But one, the victim, will overcome the pain with time though.
