Yeah. I heard that from my friend
She wanted to buy a latest cellphone of a brand I have never heard of
The sale required her to show Japanese ID in order to sell the cellphone to her.
Pretty ridiculous

It's probably the brand problem
I have never heard of that brand name in HK
Probably that's for internal sale and that's not profitable though

And yeah, Japanese keeps the best product for themselves first
so I tend to buy Japanese "water goods" product, i mean, one made in japans
