ha i dont know coz when i went back to HK, i packed them in my luggage and they were not too concerned with the weight before the oil price shot > $100. I was carrying 180lbs of stuff back and paid nothing extra other than air ticket.

i think your friend would help you out esp if you are a sweet gal.

you are right. most of the weight are books. They cut the luggage limit after i m back. Funny was that they did not check my handcarry weight. It was almost as heavy as my luggage piece and i put many books there too. I guess coz I looked at ease when i was holding the handcarry.

I had laptop and camera bags too, not dare to risk myself by carrying too much

People in LAX is not that nice

I dont know any musical equipment ( or I learnt Erhu but sucked at it , then gave up for sure as...it's killing my apartmentmate) and my drawing was fairly okay, still, not as fun as photography which I don't need to practise my hands
