Philosophy is hard to understand.
You need "life experience" to understand. It's not just theory like math or physics
It's experience and understanding from real life although many of the philosophers were talking something...ideal.

Studying philosophy history makes one can ....more easily to understand why those philosophers think that...
It may involve the society as well

Like those in mid 1700 French philosophers and those 18xx german philosophers
What they think were related their countries power/fate as well
