Since I find that philosophy should not be a subject in the U. The scope is too wide and abstract.
People should study other sujects and then re-think philosophically. Philosophy is rather a method of thinking than a subject. LOng time before, there was no division of subjects, so everyone is philosopher. But they are also scientists, doctors etc. Nowadays all subject has its own study field, and philosophy cannot find its own place.

Now I rather interest in history. There is no gerneral rule, but just a process of historical development.

But you know, history is mixed of a lot of things
Economics/Philosophy/Geography, etc

If you want to understand history thoroughly , you should at least master the basic knowledge of all other things XD

Yes, I agree. We have to master other factual knowledge of different subjects before studing philosophy.
I think that I have not enought knowledge, so after studying philosophy, I didn't get much thing from this subject......
