If you compared with other people, we can't compare as we don't know about your another half ( not cousin )'s possibility of having that particular bad gene.
1 bad gene ( if recessive ) is not enough for it to take effect.
Cousin and You have the same chance to pass to your bady and that's why I wrote down 1/8 x 1/8 = 1/64
