stoned? no wonder you could concentrate at the time ... you were distracted!
what? did you really cry before the night of the exam? you were a real chicken! :smile_19:
the worse case is ...
For HK system, I do think it sucks but it is better than most countries
TW sucks more
China one is duck feeding
Japan one is duck feeding
US highschool sucks as it's too "free"
UK is probably the same as the old HK one , sucking
Australia, no idea
Other western european countries, no idea.
HK one, at least, the duck feeding one is pretty effective at least to me
but of course, a lot of room for improvement.
The current debate on native language medium for instruction is the worst ( perhaps I had good teachers, i am pretty sure we got the best math teachers in my highschool )
can't think of the current "amendment" impact the education system.
I just hate the HK university system, 3 years is too short and it's like nothing
I took a course in CUHK for 1 semester. In US, all the previous course material were covered in first week, by 4 hours of lectures.
I am not inch-ing you for not paying hard in PS/HS
people made their choices and I don't think having good public exam results = good
Life is not that easy.
I had a very happy life, I played and read a lot.
In F6, i had 7 duties of club/society and played all time at school
Many lower form students knew me due to chess/board games/astronomy/bridge
I never studied except 3 months before HKCEE , 7 months before HKALE and 1 week before GRE
Now i look back my life, I sometimes regret about being not hardworking at all.
even so, i am still happy with my youth although with no parental care. lol
like a wild kids hanging around with friends.
