i've got to clean up my room too
finally have so much time on hand now
i really want to go the minimal route, and chuck most things out (or hide them)
but i'm really bad cleaning up and stuff... i'm usually really slow or end up get distracted and does something else

i think it depends on the person.

i've got a guy friend, his room, only has a bed, bedside table (with nothing but a lamp on top), a foam board and a table (and just monitor, keyboard, mouse, and a pen holder with pens on it). it's the tidiest room i've ever seen

He just got nothing...
If you got stuff, it's hard to keep thing organized...
