i hope medicine can help... but hk medicine is quite advance, so maybe it's ok (though sadly, in hk, it all depends on $$).

my mom's friend was discovered with last stage of lung cancer march 2008, and was said to only have 3 months left...

they tested for the caused of cancer (coz she doesn't smoke, and she exercises everyday and has balanced diet and all), and was said the cause it genetic mutation.

so they prescribe her these genetic alternating medicine (<= o.O;), though it's quite expensive.. i think her treatment is $2000 per day for the medicine alone...

and she started picking up tai chi... and she's still living one year later (and she looks quite healthy though she gets tired easily), but she's happy and healthy and living still... maybe it'll go away.

you should give your dad some hope and encouragement. there are tons of cases where people live for a long long time even being diagnosed with last stage of cancer! the most important thing is stay healthy and happy and hopeful!

he quit 2 weeks b4 he was diagnosed:smile_39: but its too late now
