why? due to the spate of teacher sex scandals in the last 5 yrs i suppose (my mum works for a primary school n i heard a lot of gossips fr her)
any unnecessary body contact or any inappropriate relationship is an obvious no-no, if not banned ... to prevent any actions being misunderstood by the kids in school misunderstand any actions  ... its going to look bad, whether its innocent or not so teachers r advised to avoid compromising situations n expected to be diligent at the frond end all the time ... very conservative mind indeed
