well, google pays by impression or by view...

a site that i used to manage by impression... with ads on our... mmm... maybe 6000 pages (generated by view, not real pages) and with about 10 million visitors a month... we only get $300 us. with google ads (but you can't eat with google ads alone. hahaha) 

but google pays $0.02 per impression for text ad.. you can do the math. :p

usually adult-image ads are more expensive...  they can be a steep as $0.3 US per impression. or $1 or 2 US per click. o.o;;
