to be a manager, he is not as good as many people ..
but he is one of the best midifielder even for england ...

People often underestimated the importance of the defensive midfielder position...

A lot of times it's that position rather than the backs that kept threats away from the goal.

makelele is probably the best DM in recent years
without him, France probably can't get as far as they can during wc06...
and look what happned without him in euro04
