i used to read a lot too.. since i can read very fast... so i can finish a typical 2-300 page novel in 3 hours or so.  But lately, i haven't been doing much reading, other than the few authors that i really like... 

i don't actually read much manga.... 
i've read all the popular stuff, but i can't follow the new stuff nowadays...

(although my room is filled with manga... just from what i used to do.. i get sent tons of manga... mostly for work. hahaha)

That each affects the other and the other affects the next, and the world is full of stories, but the stories are all one.

that's actually quite typical of post-modern literature... the "Schizophrenic style" (i think...  that's how they call it... ) 

my favorite author is Haruki Murakami.... (I read his work in English, though they are in all languages)... the way he writes.. he paste together the most detail of normal life bits and pieces into a story that doesn't necessarily have a plot. 

 I really find peace when I read his work because of the way he can describe things.
