but it won't help him find out sitting there studying physics that he doesn't even like to do. :smile_13:

better if he comes out of the academic world and see what he likes.

you never know, maybe you'll find something you have passion for and wnat to pursue further study on it later in life.

So if it is just the beginning of your PHD program, and you don't feel interested in it anymore, it is better to quit.
And start a new life style.

if u mean actuary related, i guess its worth it as i know they can make alot of money......regardless the eoconmy situations......
