From observation astrophysics to probably theoretical applied mathematics.

My field was observation astrophysics, doing some data analysis, mainly.
I don't quite like it ( not hate though ) and cant get along well with my boss.

I was then looking for another field, like i said, applied mathematics. I took some classes and browsed some researches, just realized I am too late/stupid to start it. It would take me some more years. I think, oh well, what's the difference unless I go to academia which I wont or some advanced position in I-Bank/insurance/trading company where the econ sucks on financial sector...
