Yeah, i learned some game theory and decision making theory.
Was trying to study pricing model with stochastic calculus but it's too difficult for me, just stuck with the math.

I dont know the research level of econ, but the textbook one, seems simple and neat.
I do agree quantitative econ is interesting.
However, it's still too simple for complicated economy in the real world in my sense.

as a matter of fact, there's a caltech physicist turned economist here on discuss at another board who researches on experimental economics and applied game theory... the stuff he do sounds really fun, imo (ie. come up with a hypothesis, throw in a bunch of people, make them do stuff, watch their behaviour, prove/disprove hypothesis)
