3.14 is for secondary school
3.1416 is for college....
3.141592654 is for math related major...

I used to tutor elementary kids math..and we use both 22/7 and 3.14

but does all those extra decimals at the end make any differences?

In normal usage, it has no big deal

LOL, I forgot about elementary school things

In science, we use the concept of significant figure which matters.
Anyway, more precise one number is, more precise the answer will be
