No, many customer service type jobs in HK will request for a body check.
It will be paid by the company, just want to know is that you are good to do or your health can handle this job.
It's very common~~~

not in interview room, but in specific lab.

maybe those co. help their staffs to buy insurance, so need to hv body check, i dunno
